Failed.

>> Wednesday, April 29, 2009

I failed 2 tests 1 test after 2 years..n it is a terrible one..*edited*
I only have failing papers in my 1st year of Engineering..if i m not mistaken there are 2..one for Process test, another for Electrical test. But I still don't have any failing subject. Will transport phenomena and numerical method be the 1st one?

Everything is considered beautiful for my 2nd year..though there are hardships in between..but the outcome is not so pathetic..Perhaps I did put in more effort? Or is because Year 2 is easy?

Now..3rd year..after 8 weeks..
I find myself a failure..
I almost failed for my separation test before the mid sem break..
N now..I failed for my Transport Phenomena test after the break..
It carries a lot of percentage..If i failed my internal, meaning i'm gonna fail for this subject..which I think I'm already in that particular category..

Failed failed failed..
What has happened to me?
Have I been slacking too much?
Have I tried my best?
Does the new environment cause all the changes in me?
I've tried to stay focus..but there are things that have been distracting me from time to time..
Why can't I be more discipline?
I should be crystal clear about my priorities..
It is my dream come true to study here..it is not supposed to be a disaster..
I seriously cannot continue being like that..
I just feel like isolating myself now..

I've 2 tests coming tomorrow..I really need to calm myself down and stay focus..

I wish every matter still has its turning point..(Is it too late now?)
I hope this is not the end..
I know I have to conquer it..
Nobody can save me, except myself.. This is so hard..=(

Can I go to the beach or top of the mountain to scream as loud as I want?

Exam Timetable - Winterbreak Planning

>> Monday, April 27, 2009

Exams timetable is released..

Despite of having 2 tough papers back to back and gonna go Caufield to sit for 2 other papers..
There is one and only thing I can be happy about -- my exams end quite early..Last paper is on 26th of June..

Forget about all the stresses (I know this would not be possible..2 tests coming this Thurs, 2 reports + 1 assignment due next week..OMG!)
C'mon..Let's have some planning about Winter Break..LOL

For now, all I know is that..Kyloon is coming to Melb, K-lyn might be visiting Aussie, Rhi n co are organising trip to Tasmania..What else??
I'm gonna spend the winter break as colourful as possible..though it would be very cold by then..cz even now we have single digit degree celcius during day time..couldnt imgaine how cold it's gonna be..Every night I've my feets frozen and I just wish I could tuck in bed forever..

So people..Planning planning? I'm so excited on the wrong timing..LoL..
Back to study

Shoo The Stress Away

>> Wednesday, April 22, 2009

The end of Easter break is the beginning of torment..
3 labs and 2 tests in a week..
2 tests back to back on the same day the following week..
Assignments n reports due dates come immediately after the week..
This cycle would repeat itself until the semester ends.

*SCREAM*
What about my uni life?
Is this still consider as a life?
Yes..U can say that engineering students got no life..

N Guess what..I'm still awake at 5.30 am right now..trying my best to tuck in as much info as possible for the suddenly percentage-increased tests..
How can they simply change the assessment marking?
Seriously I would prefer the previous structure...even though there would be 6 tests in total..still it is better than increasing the percentage of the exams just to assign us with an assignment..I don't see the point of doing that..
You are not making our life easier..In fact, you are increasing the difficulty of us passing the highest failing rate subject..=.=

It has been very stressful since the very 1st day of class..or even during the so called break..
Did I play too much..Perhaps I did slack..BUT Most importantly, the break is too short for anyone to enjoy while at the same time to catch up with studies and cope with assignments..
The situation got worse when there are misunderstanding and miscommunication..

Third year..you are such a killer..
I don't like the transition of turning into 3rd year student..it just felt like the burden+pressure has a sudden exponential growth..

I need to stay focus now..
I shall not be defeated..
Stress Stress...Shoo Shoo! Go away please...

Good Friday and Easter

>> Friday, April 10, 2009

Good Friday indicates the start of my easter break..LoL

Well, back in Malaysia I never really bother what is the real meaning of this day.
But since I'm granted a holiday..n the 1st public holiday in Aus..I think I should at least understand the basic..

From the net (sorry..lazy to do referencing..don't sue me)

"Good Friday is observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday. It is acknowledged in Christianity as the Friday during Holy Week, the day that the Church designates as the anniversary of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. On this day, Christians commemorate the passion, suffering and death on the cross of the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a day when Christians remember what Christ achieved on the cross and it is often marked by a variety of church services many of them taking place at three in the afternoon, the time the gospels tell us that Jesus was crucified. Many Christians spend this day in fasting, prayer, repentance, and meditation on the agony and suffering of Christ on the cross."

"Easter is the season of penitence and fasting which is roughly the forty days before Easter and was first observed in the early church as a time in which those preparing for baptism might be instructed in the faith. Today Christians use it as a time for some sort of spiritual development. This can take many forms such as prayer and fasting, self-denial, spiritual reading or some other discipline such as attending a Lent Course. Lent is often associated with Jesus’ retreat into the desert as a preparation for his ministry.

On Easter Sunday, Christians celebrate the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is typically the most well-attended Sunday service of the year for Christian churches.

Christians believe according to Scripture, that Jesus came back to life, or was raised from the dead, 3 days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion, is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through his death, burial and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in him, eternal life in Christ Jesus.

In Western Christianity, Easter marks the ending of Lent, a 40-day period of fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual discipline in preparation for Easter. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Easter Sunday. Easter is always celebrated on the Sunday immediately following the Paschal Full Moon."

#The wonders of internet. I just copy n paste from here n there. XD

But what non-christians know about the cultural elements of this festive season are Easter Bunny and Easter Egg. Hehe..I was the same as well before researching the internet.

Oh well..that's the lesson for today..
Everyone out there...Have a Good Friday and do enjoy your Easter Break =)
