Ski Trip

>> Saturday, July 25, 2009

Since I promised that I'll blog about my winter break trips, so I better do so as I do have a little blogging mood tonight.

Let me see...where should I start..
The norms usually start from the first..
I wanna be counter-norm..LoL..I will start from the last trip..A 3D2N SKI TRIP!
Yeap..I went for ski-ing during the last weekend of my break @ Falls Creek.
It was right after the results were released.
It's really a blessing to be able to go on trips without a heavy heart as my results are considerably satisfying..at least it is a lot better than expected. Thanks for all the prayers and wishes..=)

Gather at Robert Blackwood Hall at 1.30am with temperature of 7 degree Celcius.
Departing about an hour later.
The journey wasnt that pleasant as the seat of the bus is static as in not the type that can be reclined. It's quite a torture as it was a 8-hour travel. However I still gotten a couple hours of sleep..

The weather was pretty sunny on the day of arrival until the extent that most of us were sweating due to layers of thermal clothing. But 2nd day was rather misty and windy with low visibility.

Ski-ing for a beginner is all about falling down.
I've lost count on the amount of times that I fell down in order to stop.
I admit I'm totally not talented in this.
Looking at how graceful people can ski..really do admire them inside out..
Oh well..it is alright..at least I get to experience sth new..
Perhaps one day I'd master it? haha..currently I do not think so I've the interest..
But the others were quite keen on going to ski/snowboard for another time though.

At the snowy land

Dinner time

The scrumptious food (The main dishes were not that decent though..only dessert and snacks were yummy!)

In the room

The best part of the trip was that it snowed!! It is a dream come true for me =)

Another wonderful part was to be able to build snowman ^^

The group with our snowman *Winks*

After getting back to Clayton, we had our dinner at Sofia @ Burwood.

N my winter break is officially ended.

Determination and Faith

First week of semester two Year 3 is done.

Hello people.
I guess I've started to abandon the blog again.
There are too much distractions around..Facebook, outings, drama, sleep......etc
N the root of all is..I'm lazy
Especially after uploading photos on facebook and tagging each n every picture..I felt like as if I've completed the mission of telling stories about my trips and outings.

It is hard to get rid of procrastination.
It is hard to maintain the continuity contribution to the blog.
Because...I'm lazy by nature...hahaha
I do not have strong determination. This is my weak point. I always do things like "hangat hangat tahi ayam".
Since young, from playing organ, writing chinese caligraphy, drawing, guitar......none of them I've ever showed persistent in myself. I got interested. I learned. N I stopped.

Oh well. This is me. Sounded very useless though.
Everything is like an excuse.
Nobody is born with strong determination.
It all depends on your own.
It is a matter of whether you want it to continue or not.
I still have a long way to go in learning this.

Hmmm..how come I can get sidetracked so much from the main topic that I wanted to share.
Perhaps I should just let it be and come back to that next time.

I'm not feeling very happy right now.
It doesnt feel good when someone who is close to you no longer have faith in you.
Intentionally or unintentionally the words that were said have hurt the heart.
Do you know which part of our body is the most powerful weapon?
The anwer is tongue!

"An unguarded tongue has destructive effects."

Yes. Even though tongue cannot hurt physically.
But it is more painful to be hurt mentally.
Injuries that were caused by cut, bite, kick, whack or any physical impact will eventually recover one day.
However the internal injuries from the heart and feeling..which can't be seen might stay forever.

It is always two-way flow when come to relationship with people.
If someone doesn't have faith in you..perhaps u need to do more to gain back the trust.
But it is really annoying when you have tried and the problem is still there.
When you though that you are progressing..but in the end the result showed that you are actually not standing any further from the starting point..it is really a big disappointment..as if u hv never done anything about it..

If you feel tired, you would wish to get some rest.
So...Am I tired now?

Eye 'm' beck~~~

Finally, I can sit down nicely and come online..
It has been very eventful ever since my finals ended..

Right after the trip, catch up with Penang friends and celebrated Elvin's bday at Lygon..
Come home, unpack the luggage and repack n whee~ Off to another trip to Phillip Island for 3D2N..
Following by the trip is a dinner with Penang girls in the city and strolling along Yarra River..

I have been out continuously...
Now this is scary...it is really like non-stop...
There are still more to come..HSC gathering in Melb, ski trip, a few more friends coming over to Melb..N I wanted to go shopping...
N I left like 2 weeks of break only...
Hmm...u can say that I fully utilise the break, enjoy it to the fullest..
But deep down, I actually just wanna have enough rest..
In fact, staying at home and relax is not a bad way of spending this winter break as well..

N now..i'm falling sick..
I hope this is not swine flu...shall see how tmr..
