Ski Trip
>> Saturday, July 25, 2009
Since I promised that I'll blog about my winter break trips, so I better do so as I do have a little blogging mood tonight.
Let me see...where should I start..
The norms usually start from the first..
I wanna be counter-norm..LoL..I will start from the last trip..A 3D2N SKI TRIP!
Yeap..I went for ski-ing during the last weekend of my break @ Falls Creek.
It was right after the results were released.
It's really a blessing to be able to go on trips without a heavy heart as my results are considerably satisfying..at least it is a lot better than expected. Thanks for all the prayers and wishes..=)
Gather at Robert Blackwood Hall at 1.30am with temperature of 7 degree Celcius.
Departing about an hour later.
The journey wasnt that pleasant as the seat of the bus is static as in not the type that can be reclined. It's quite a torture as it was a 8-hour travel. However I still gotten a couple hours of sleep..
The weather was pretty sunny on the day of arrival until the extent that most of us were sweating due to layers of thermal clothing. But 2nd day was rather misty and windy with low visibility.
Ski-ing for a beginner is all about falling down.
I've lost count on the amount of times that I fell down in order to stop.
I admit I'm totally not talented in this.
Looking at how graceful people can ski..really do admire them inside out..
Oh well..it is alright..at least I get to experience sth new..
Perhaps one day I'd master it? haha..currently I do not think so I've the interest..
But the others were quite keen on going to ski/snowboard for another time though.
At the snowy land
Dinner time
The scrumptious food (The main dishes were not that decent though..only dessert and snacks were yummy!)
In the room
The best part of the trip was that it snowed!! It is a dream come true for me =)
Another wonderful part was to be able to build snowman ^^
The group with our snowman *Winks*
After getting back to Clayton, we had our dinner at Sofia @ Burwood.
N my winter break is officially ended. Read more...
