Oh well, not the kind of very very upset feeling, but just a bit irony when comparing the word happy and my true feeling now.
As I grow up, I started to learn that birthday is just another day.
Probably because my parents have been treating my birthday a very special one year after year until my 21st. That's why since young, what is implant in me is that birthday is ought to be different from the other 364days.
However, the essence of growing up, has changed my naive thinking.
I guess it is the reality of life that hit me. That's when expectation meets disappointment.
No doubt I've experienced disappointment along the way, especially when you've someone important to you. But I've realised it is because I'm having too much expectation for something that would not happen.
It's a bit sad to say this, but not everyone will think alike.
If I've not giving in hope for anything, there wouldn't be any let down.
So, this is just the way of life.
Oh well, while you are reading, you must be thinking ym's very pessimistic.
Yes, maybe I'm. You may change me if you think it's possible XD
The moment when I realised I'll be spending my birthday alone in Philippines due to work, it was terribly unacceptable at first.
However, this is a truly good opportunity given by the boss, so I sort of 硬着头皮 to accept.
Haha. I guess it is not a bad idea after all.
At least I had a fulfilled day, accomplished the task given, experienced new cultures, meeting new faces.
And most importantly I've no disappointment when there is no expectation! LOL this has become ym's theology.
Anyway people, thanks for the wishes on the day I'm given birth, irregardless of whether you really rmb it or it's FB that reminded you :P
I'll reply the FB messages when I'm back in Msia!
See you guys soon *cheers*
