Another coincidence of numbers for date..LoLx..
Hmm..I simply get pure excited with numbers that appear to be so called special to me..20082008..LoLx..
Haha..Jz ignore that..Got a lil' insane with maths..Having a small small quiz in 2hours time..
Well, all i can say is..I dislike Maths..Furthermore I dislike Maths without numbers..Going up a level in my degree, all the maths are alphabetically defined instead..
Took me long to understand sth..n then took me another 'long' to be able to apply what I understand or probably still half hanging with the understanding..In short, I m jz SLOW..=.=
Not only slow..my brain isn't big either..U would understand the term BIG if u've ever played the "Who has the biggest brain?" application in facebook..Probably I dun hv ingenious brain nor brilliant memory..*Sigh*
Anyway, u should try that application n find out how big is ur brain..

It's already the 6th week of this semester..
I'm really VERY behind the study schedule..hardly can catch up with all the subjects..
Feeling very dead..Another *Sigh*

These days, the hot issues in uni are about the transfer/ exchange programme..and also industrial training matter..
By the way, I've submitted my transfer application form..So I jz need to wait til i get the offer letter and a place of me in Aussie is confirmed..*Wink*
Good luck for those who are still deciding..whether to transfer or to exchange or even stay back in Msia..

Going off to lecture..
*Peace Out*

Olympic Fever

Since 080808, the hot topic revolves around the globe would be no other than Olympic.

As for Malaysia, badminton is the sport that bring us with hope..
However, out of 5 possible medals in badminton, with the elimination of Men's double (Lee Wan Wah & Choong Tan Fook), Wong Choong Hann, Wong Mew Choo and Men's double (Koo Kien Keat & Tan Boon Heong), right now we're only left with ONE -- Lee Chong Wei..

Ever since the 1st participation in Olympic, Malaysia has only won 3 Olympic medals, which are 1 silver and 2 bronze..And all of them are from badminton match.. Still, we've never gotten a gold medal..

For the badminton match (men's single quarter final) today, World's No. 2 Lee Chong Wei eliminated World's No. 5 Sony Dwi Kuncoro of Indonesia..Feeling overjoyed when Lee Chong Wei won the match jz now at noon with two games..(21-9 and 21-11)
This simply indicates that.. We've gotten into the semi-final!! *Hooray*

As Telegraph.co.uk press stated: "Lee Chong Wei has the weight of expectation resting on his shoulders as he bids to become Malaysia's first ever Olympic gold medal."

Excited cum Nervous for the semi-final tomorrow evening/ night..
In the semifinal on August 15, Lee Chong Wei will face either World's No. 3 Bao Chunlai of China or World No. 10 Lee Hyun-il of the Republic of Korea.

"I'll try my best to win every match step by step. I haven't wished for a lot as I don't want to give myself too much pressure," Lee CW said to the press.

Malaysia Boleh!! Lee Chong Wei 'jia you'!!!
Do your best in the match!
You are the only hope for our GOLD..
We want GOLD! We want GOLD! =D

Wing Li + Ian + Naoyo Seo's Birthdays

A birthday celebration was also held on 8th of Aug at uni..
It's a celebration for Wing Li, Ian and Naoyo Seo (Japanese Girl)..
Wonder since when we hv a Jap friend in our course?
Hehe..Well, she is a friend of Kar Horng..she came to Malaysia on a 3-week Youth exchange program..n we actually only met her on that day..
They gave her the title as the Invited Guest for Wing Li's birthday..so she's our kawaii VIP ^^

As usual, I'd let the pictures do the story-telling..

080808 - Beijng Olympics Games '08

Last year, I had a post on 070707..
So there is no exceptional for this year --> 080808
Each day comes only once in a lifetime..
So..What's so special abt 080808??
I bet anyone would be able to answer this Q..

The long awaited 2008 Beijing Olympics Games opening ceremony falls on this date, indicating the beginning of the Games of the XXIX Olympiad!

The logo of the games, titled "Dancing Beijing," features a stylised calligraphic character jīng (京, meaning capital), referencing the host city.
The Olympic slogan, "One World, One Dream", calls upon the world to unite in the Olympic spirit and build a better future for humanity (同一个世界 同一个梦想). It was chosen from over 210,000 entries submitted from around the world.

The mascots of Beijing 2008 are the five Fuwa (福娃, literally "good luck dolls"), each representing both a colour of the Olympic rings and a symbol of Chinese culture. The Fuwa consist of five members that incorporate fish, giant panda, fire, Tibetan antelope, and swallow designs. The five Fuwa are named Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying, and Nini. When the first syllable of each of the five names are said together, the result is the phrase 北京欢迎你 ("Beijing welcomes you"). (Wikipedia, 2008)

Good Food = Life's enjoyment

My week started with dining in at Italianese on a super peak Sunday..
Spent more than half an hour to get in Sunway Pyramid car park..was stuck in the middle at the tunnel of the underground car park with my aunt..Thus sadly we got no choice turn backbut to wait..
But the good part was..my aunt out of the blue opt to go Italianese with our super duper hungry stomach..^^

@ Italianese
Seafood pasta with clamps, mussels, prawn n squid..My aunt cleverly ordered a pasta which serves for two..The waitress was shocked n so do I..
In the end, I was asked to da bao the remaining big portion of pasta back as my dinner =.=
RM35 for a pasta with tasty, fresh seafood n yet serve as 2 meals for me..It's worthwhile..=D

Due to a cancelled-lecture on Tues, resulting Chemical students with 4 hours break..
The gals decided to go Subway..as there is some sort of buy 1 free 1 promotion offer obtained from newspaper cutting..

@ Subway
Well, the taste is still the same..as healthy as it always do..but the portion somehow got smaller compared to the one I first ate 2 years ago..Still rmb I spent quite an effort to finsh up the whole thing last time..but now, a 6 inch is kind of jz nice for the stomach for an hour..Ha! Have I turned into a big eater?

On Thursday..a special day..

@ Dave's Pizza Pasta Vino
The carbonara cream pasta is awesome!! This goes the same for the vanila milk shake..*Double thumbs UP*
Well, if u haven't realised, Dave's doing this promotion -- 50% discount on pasta 12-5pm from Monday to Friday except public holidays..
It's highly recommended with the current half price pasta..the portion doesnt go lesser anyway.. U should really go try it out..
Where is Dave's Pizza? It's right opposite TGI Fridays and Burger King, Ground Floor at Old Wing, One Utama..

After Fluid Mechanics Lab on Friday..went to try out the highly good rated food at Daiki Cafe..It's situated at the row of shop houses near SJMC and Subang Parade..
Well, it doesnt seem to be a restaurant that I'll enter if nobody recommended abt it..it seems to be a bit classy..n doesnt look like a restaurant which serve local cuisine..XD

@ Daiki Cafe
The best ever Jawa Mee that I've tried in KL..*Thumbs Up*

A belated birthday treat for my aunt on Saturday..

@ Lala Chong, Ara Damansara
Crabsssss...Tasted quite okay..price also quite reasonable for a restaurant in KL.. But this place is quite secluded..Don't ask me for the direction..I've no idea either..Haha~

My stomach feels...luxurious this week!
It's so rare to have so many nice food in a row for my uni life..
Thanks for all the good treat ^^
