Design Project Team

1st week of final semester has just ended.
It's just the 1st week, but all the Chem Eng students have started to feel the stressful study environment.
No joke about it. Design project is the nightmare of every Chem Eng student. *serious*
Even the lecturer-in-charge is scaring us off by describing the difficulty of it.
Oh well, by looking at the hard times that the hardworking seniors have gone through, we have sort of expected it.

By the way, we don't get to choose our team mates.
We've been allocated into a group of 6 according to the Belbin test results given to us last semester. Miraculously, the Belbin test is able to give relatively accurate identification of the role of each individual among the group of people involved. For instance, the team roles identified are shaper, plant, monitor evaluator, co-ordinator, resource investigator, implementer, team worker and finisher. As you can see, there are more than 6 roles available, meaning each group will hv some missing strengths. Nevertheless, the main objectives for the design project are application of knowledge we've gained throughout our degree to design a LNG (liquefied natural gases) plant and how we work as a team given that the team members are not selected by ourselves.

The Belbin results were out last semester, but we only gotten to know our team members last Monday - the 1st Design class this sem.
Before the announcement of the team, everyone is so so nervous. Hui and Sia who were on my left and right, had cold hands literally. However, the grouping thingy turned out to be not so bad, with everyone knows at least 1 or 2 ppl in each group. Guess what? Jun is in the same team as me. Yesh~ He is my partner for another 12 credit points unit AGAIN!! So sien la..cannot to get to know new people..Haha..N his reaction was epic the moment when he saw the list.."Yay, I'm gonna team with ym!! I'm so happy with this team...." Then smiling throughout the lecture =.=
Hmm..undoubtedly, it's good to have Jun, but not sure if we will work well with this team. Felt like we lack efficiency after several meet ups.
Aaa~ We'll see how it goes. Just pray that everything will work out well.

**Add-on: By the way, I'm assigned the role of a finisher/completer. So not fun..=.=

Just handed in the group project plan n met up with our group supervisor.
Other groups have been working on 1st chapter already..*sigh* Making me super stressful...
I can foresee my screwed up life in 2 week times.
