Short Term Memory Loss

Sigh. My short-term memory loss symptom is getting more and more serious..
In this two-week, the total number of stuffs that I've forgotten is huge.

-First I locked my key inside my room.
-Second I lost my Bros water bottle. I don't have a clue of where I put it.
-Thirdly is I forgot about my handphone on the way I go to friend's house for assignment discussion. But luckily it's safe and sound on my desk.
-Fourth thing is I nearly forgot about my dad's birthday on 25th. Luckily I get to remember it during a boring lecture.
-Another thing is I forgot to bring the city map out last week when I needed it badly. I've circled the place that I was heading. I just simply forgotten about it and left it on the table.
-My Faber-Castell eraser is missing too. I only realise it when I were about to sit for my Thermo test 2.
-I tend to forgot those grocery shopping that was paid by me. In the end, I didnt get any refund from friends. I'm still trying hard to remember where the money has gone to.
-More often than not, I forgot whatever that I wanted to say to people after they finish their speech. It's just all blank on my brain for that instance.

In fact, now I've forgotten what I've forgotten.=.=!!

Just went online searching what is the structure that is responsible for short term memory..and it is called pre-frontal lobe.

So does that mean that my forehead is not high enough? *Double sweat*

Sigh.
I cannot continue being like this.
If not, by the age of 30, I might even lose myself. OMG!!
I gonna learn to remember stuffs hard. The 1st thing for now is write down whatever that I ought to remember or ought to do when it is still on my mind. I hope I can get rid of this short term memory loss thingy soon.

Please have a hard knock on me whenever u see me leaving things behind.
Please please have a harder knock on me whenever u know that I've forgotten sth twice or more.

My Official 21st

Oh well..this is another overdue overdue post..
This comes one month later..LoL..Yea..it's 1 month cz there are only 28days in Feb..XD

I would say that this is my 1st surprise birthday party..
Cz all the while, I plan my birthday for myself..N when i didnt plan, it feels weird..
But since I've celebrated once back in Penang, so I wasn't expecting much on this day..moreover we're here for only a week, so really didnt think that much..
Thanks to those who are involved, especially my sweet housemates ^^

When the clock stroke 12 on 23rd of Feb, 2009....
Nothing happened..Hahaha

Well, the story is actually like this..
On Sunday night, Max brought me out for Korean BBQ dinner..so we were supposed to come back late..but I ruined the plan by asking to go home early..LoL
When I'm home, there are so many ppl at my house..but then is quite normal since they've been our visitors since the 1st few days in Aussie..
Without thinking much, I went to bathe. When I was done....
they were still there..LOL!
All of them request to leave at 12 =.=! I was a bit paranoid la..thought sth might happen..
Oh well, since they left, so I just assume it's the end of the night..

HOWEVER, that bunch of peeps suddenly appeared from the back laundry area with a cake O.o
That really caught me into surprise!!


My housemates and I..I'm the only one in pyjamas..others wear leng leng..T_T

That's only the 1st part of MY DAY..LoL..

On my birthday itself was also the 1st day of orientation..
Met a lot of friends at uni and received a lot of wishes as well


Unexceptionally, we went to the typical boring orientation talk..

Everything seems to be very normal..

The weird part started to creep it when Jon sort of like forcing me to go Chadstone..
Even though I said I was very exhausted and I needed to go back and take a nap..they just didnt allow..In the end, 4 of us went Chadstone together..

Oh well, I didnt get anything from there..cz all I was thinking was my bed and sleep..

Even the shops were closed d, they are still reluctant to go buy..
Instead..they said they were hungry..

N here it goes..Subway =.=!! While eating, they sort of like finding some topics to crap about..jon even mentioned about what to do on Sean's birthday..T_T Wasn't that my birthday?
Suddenly remembered that the last bus is around 7pm..quickly rushed to the bus stop and checked..Can't wait to go home..

Upon reaching, there I spotted Kelvin and a few riding on their bikes towards my house..

But strange thing was that I didnt see any shoes in front of my door step..
Was just about to ask when I entered the house..

A loud bang of "SURPRISE!!"
Woah..Really a surprise..
They hide all their bikes and shoes at the backyard of the house..
N my housemates were busy preparing food..they're making me a Birthday ParTy!!
In fact everyone has actually prepared something for the party..
Wow..that's so awesome!!

Now everything has turned into senses..
All the whispering recently..all the weird excuses this morning (Jia Wei said she meeting friends tonight and need to go back take a nap; Hsiao Hui said she need to teman JW so cannot go Chadstone, Wing Li just ran off the orientation half way due to emo and never come back; Chin Ying followed WL in order to comfort him; Yong Pin tagged along as well; the reason for forcing me not to return to my house; the watermelon at WL's house; the roti pati that was supposed to buy for Pinnie..etc etc

They've been secretly planning for this big surprise while having to settle down for the 1st 2 weeks in Aussie..
Ahhh..It's really really sweet of u people..


Food of the night..curry chicken, mashed potato, salad, fried chicken, french fries, sandwiches,lasagna, watermelon etc etc..Thanks to all the main chefs and helpers!!

Back from minor MIA

Sorry for the disappearance..
I knew I've promised to blog soon..but things are out of my control..

A lot has happened..
N mostly they are negative ones..
1. My Guess sunglasses were broken last week due to accident (now they're being sent back for repair...I really do love that shades..*Pray*;
2. Two tests came in a row last week..n each compromise 8% of my overall marks for the same subject..n i just realise that for that subject, everything is so exam-oriented..meaning my internal assessments are all test-based..no assignment, no lab...n i did badly for the 1st test..just imagine 16% just flew away in two days time..*pain*
3. Yesterday I locked my keys inside the room n spent $50 for a new lock..*wallet double pain*
4. Relationship is giving me a headache..=/
etc etc..These are the major ones..

However, being positive..

Things aint that bad after all..
Was being present with a new pair of shades by Hui n Calvin (Seriously u two dun hv to do that..HH, it is not ur fault at all...it is all becoz of me...But i noe u ppl wont take it back liao after i've refused so much..so THANK YOU!!)

At the same time, I will know I have to work harder...set my priority right...now my priority is study study n study...with a little of play..XD..Like i said before, i m not gifted with a smart brain, so stupid ppl like me, besides working hard, there is no shortcut..

Apart from that, I can access my room now..n this lesson is heavily paid n i will make sure i dun forget my keys anymore..I m such a forgetful head..Urgh..

It has come to my realisation that Personality, Tolerance and Communication are the essential key to a successful relationship..I've yet to manage to handle it..Hopefully maturity would grow in me as times go by..Bla bla bla..
Dear reader, don't simply guess anything abt it..thank you..it is my blog n i m just expressing whatever i feel like to..

Anyway, i shall not regret coming over here..meeting new, kind people and being exposed to all new environment are the best experiences I've obtained..

Life is precious..n there are far more things awaiting u to discover..
Just watched the 'Indescribable' video cased in Texas with a bunch of life group friends just now..
N it's shown that how big is the universe..n how small is Earth..n more importantly how small am I in real..
Human on earth is truly significantly insignificance relative to the whole universe..
N hence the matter that one is facing is so so so much smaller..
Instead of dwelling in the past n mistakes, why not just learn from the wrongs n make yourself prepared for the challenges ahead..
Remember this: Don't waste life..life is precious..

So hang on there...rainbow is showing up soon..

Earthquake??

While I was typing the post just now, something happened..
There's slight earthquake which lasted for 30 seconds..only me n jia wei are at home..it's freaking scary..
Friends around my housing area also felt the shake..
Hmm..I hope there is no earthquake in Aus..probably is due to the extreme strong wind..

Mentioning about strong wind..
The other day when I went Caufield to get my stuffs, the wing was way too strong till I couldnt walk forward..I don't like that feeling of not able to walk..N seriously if the wind were to be slightly stronger, then I guess my foot will be lifted into the air..X.X

Take a deep breathe..everything's alright now I wish..

Updates (Feb 20-22)

Hey yo!
LoL..So rare of me greeting people like this way..
Anyway sorry for the MIA..Just cut it short as I have lots to update..
It is the end of 1st week of class..classes are as usual..boring, tiring, stressful etc etc..
N to be honest, I cant really grab certain teaching of the lecturers due to their slang, but my coursemates seem to be pretty attentive during class..so I guess it is just my prob n I gonna be able to catch up asap..

Apart of attending lectures, I actually hv my week filled with activities..there are two tonight but I just need to be at home for one night..I just feel something is wrong when I dun get to sit still at home..I cant take too much fun perhaps..LoL..this only applies when there are classes..

Hmm..So I shall continue from the event I last posted..
My 1st visit to the city in 2009 on 20th of Feb with 3 friends..LoL..I’ve actually came Melb like 3 years ago..so It wasn't really my 1st visit to australia..Nothing much has changed..at least the city is still as square as it used to be..XD

21st of Feb
Went to the city again with my housemates..the purpose of this trip is to give Wai Che a good treat..^^
But we ended up shopping while waiting for Wai Che..Jayjay rocks..(Thi s is the name of a boutique, Jay Chow =.=)
We had Krispy Kreme Doughnuts..It’s fattening, but delicious..XD


Had our dinner at Mekong which is famous for its vietnamese food..According to WC, it is always crowded there..

22nd of Feb
On this date, an event called Clayton Community Festival has been carried out..it is something like fun fare, food, performance n etc etc.. I guess more similar events to come in future..but in a larger scale perhaps..^^..Can’t wait to go to the Moomba Festival on 1st week of March..

After the festival, the Evelyn guys had a surprise belated bday mini party for Chin Ying..

Summer Swoop 2009

Just attended an event called Summer Swoop, which is organised by MUISS for international students..
Mostly those that attended were Malaysians..there are also Japanese, Mauritian, Indonesian, Sweedish, American, Chinese from China..etc etc

The event is basically to expose us (new international students) to the surroundings of Clayton and things we ought to know in order to survive over here..
They made it like Amazing Race whereby u will need to solve problem at a station before getting the clue for the next station..
The hard part is to figure out the which station is meant by the clue and also to fulfill the game master's desire..
The game master for each station has different requests..eg: buy something made from Msia/ Indonesia like spices, get the required book from library, make poses of poster for certain movies, do 10 push-ups, find the exact location of the photo of the object taken, say hello in 8 different languages, sing a not-so-easy song out loud..
The event lasted for one whole day..
My team managed to finish it before time..so well done for us though we din get any prize =)

It is really a good and fun experience..
We learn about the bus route, recognise places around Clayton, catch the train, get to know about good food..
N most importantly is the new friends found ^^ So glad that I'm in the group..

By the way, I only have few photos in my camera..waiting for the others to upload to facebook..

Hello Clayton

Here is a Hello greeting sent from Clayton, Victoria~

Today is my 5th day over here.
Things have been hectic ever since I've landed.
Problems occurring here and there since the 1st day.
But well..things are getting better now..just got the house cleaned..not really YET..left the final part which is to mop the floor of the entire house..upstairs is fully carpeted anyway but gonna vacuum it again..it got dusty after cleaning the window..%#@*&..okok..enough of grumbling with the cleaning job..

Overall, the house is okay IF it is clean..
Many have come to my house..but I've gone to none..
My housemates and I hv been crazily cleaning the house and getting the groceries shopping done..There is a lot to buy even though it is a fully furnished house..OMG
I've spent like @@..Don't convert..STOP converting..

The weather over here is..dry but windy..sunny but cold..
Hmm..I guess u won't understand it if u aint here..
But my lips seriously get dry every now and then even though I've applied lip balm constantly n drinking more water than I used to drink in Penang..

Anyway, I've yet to obtain my internet connection..
Currently I'm using the free mobile broadband given by THREE..
I've signed up the promotional plan whereby I pay $39 for a $49 plan and get an extra 1GB mobile broadband for free..n also get the phone for free..however the phone is nothing much to be fascinating about..
In all, the plan is worth it and so I took it..This is like the 2nd last phone in the store..so consider myself as lucky ^^


Been to few places like Clayton Town, Chadstone and Mount Waverley..
Have yet to been to the city..gonna be this Fri or Sat..^^
Just had my enrolment done yesterday n allocated my timetable..
Orientation starts next week..
Going to join some amazing race event tomorrow organized by Monash University International Student Society (MUISS)..I guess it is going to be fun..
Finally I can think of the word fun after all the frustrated cleaning n settling down..

Not much pictures have been taken except for the food we cooked or ordered..
Life isnt that colourful for these 5 days but hopefully it will get brighter n brighter after the gloomy ones..

How I wish I have a car now~~~
I'm sick of walking with hell lots of heavy stuffs on hand..
N I miss my bolster..why they dont sell bolster over here..*sniff sniff*
N I'm still coughing..OMG..It has been like 2 weeks d..

Well, don't worry about me..
I will be adapting to the new environment and get myself recovered SOON..

Goodbye Penang

Okay..It is really time for me to blog a lil'..just a few hours before I board the plane..
Sorry for the lack posting..I've been sick and 'm still sick..
Was still excited two weeks ago regarding touching down at Kangaroo Land..
But not after my early 21st n farewell party, where I caught myself in a terrible illness status..

Initially was voiceless due to the awful sorethroat..that continue for a couple of days..and in between the nights I had fever..
Then here came the bad cough which lasts until now (already 10 days n still counting)..
Sigh..All I need now is water n sleep..But I barely sleep well at night due to the cough..Urgh..

The MOST suffering part is the food..as I should be enjoying the scrumptious Penang food during my last week of stay here..But all I've been eating are watery porridge, soupy nooddle..
Another sad sad thingy is that I'm not allowed to meet up with friends..
Inevitably, the excited feelings got drown..

Well, just let it be then since I can't chase back the time..
N I know good frienship will remain regardless of time, distance etc etc.
I'm so gonna miss all the girls' hang out, chit-chatting and warm accompany..
Thanks for all the love, care and happiness..
I will return sooner than u can imagine..hopefully emerging as a better individual..

My Early 21st + Farewell Party

Another overdued post..
I should have blogged about this earlier..Now the feeling is totally different liao..

As stated, the party was thrown last Saturday (31/1/09) at the pool side of my place.
The theme of the party is PURPLE..
Hehe..My favourite colour..
Well, it turned out better than what I expect as not many people has purple colour clothings..so white is the alternative..
But there are some who just *puff* forgotten about the colour theme..Hehe..it's alright..No worries..Just like how I didnt obey the colour theme for Party 21 hosted by Wee Hwang..=P

N I would like to apologise for any incovenience or unsatisfaction caused for the night..Too many stuffs that need to be handled..Perhaps I've invited too many?
Hmm..50 friends plus numerous relatives have attended the party..XD
Come to think abt it..50 is not really a big number..As u grow up, u will get to know more n more friends, starting from Primary, High School, College n now University..It's good to know that so many of us still keep in touch after such a long time..*Applause*
